A half-day course, run by literacy consultants, examining how Spelling Seeds are used and how spelling and vocabulary can be embedded and applied in writing

 
This half-day course will –

• Identify teacher subject knowledge of spelling requirements from years 1 to 6
• Explore where explicit teaching of vocabulary can support knowledge of spelling
• Consider how to plan and assess for spelling requirements
• Demonstrate a variety of engaging activities that can be applied to planning spelling in context, using high-quality texts
• Familiarisation with our Spelling Seeds resource
   

Participants will receive:

• All materials by WeTransfer and the Zoom code prior to the workshop
