Lending Libraries

Lending Libraries are a free service for Literacy Tree member schools, allowing schools to borrow sets of Reading Leaf books. Each host school holds 15 copies of each title. To borrow books, please contact the Lending Library school directly using the details below.

Schools are responsible for arranging collection and return of books in person (not by courier) on agreed dates at the end of each half term.

Our work with publishers

We work with a wide range of publishers to ensure our resources are built around a diverse selection of books by a diverse pool of authors. We obtain rights directly from publishers and we proudly display covers on our website with their permission. We are publisher-agnostic: we value the classics just as much as contemporary titles and aim to represent a broad sweep of genres across our book choices.

Advisory Panels

Our three panels are made up of teachers with the experience to guide and inform us to help us to ensure our chosen texts meet standards of inclusivity and authenticity in terms of representation of cultures and communities. Our advisory panels are used to provide advice and guidance in a non-executive function and are a non-decision making forum. The three panels are as follows:
