- Financial information, e.g, credit card information, is entered by the user at the time of purchase. We do not retain this information and to facilitate the payment process we use two third-party online payment gateway, Stripe which are reliable ways to transfer key payment information. Stripe assumes responsibility of processing money, verifying client accounts and have their own privacy policies.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Visitors to our Website
When someone visits literacytree.com, we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site and we do not share this. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up-front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
Visitors to our Application
To use all the features of our application, we require access to your camera and photos. Many of our services require us to collect images and other information from your device's camera and photos. For example, you won't be able to upload photos or use the 'Capture' feature for work samples from your camera roll unless we can access your camera or photos.
Our application interacts with our website and as such information added via the application, for example class lists and assessment data, will also be available on the 'My Account' page on our website, literacytree.com. This information will only be available via your login and will not be shared (please see the 'Our Data' section of this Privacy Policy for more information on how we protect your data and information.
Newsletter database
As part of the registration process for our subscription service we collect email addresses to send a termly e-newsletter. We do this for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses and we never have done.
We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
