Stories have always gathered around food.
To celebrate the launch of our brand new Story Sapling for A Taste of Home by Maryam Hassan and Anna Wilson, we’ve created a carefully curated book list exploring food, family, culture, and celebration. And it goes without saying that a number of snacks were consumed in the creation of this book list – hungry work!
Featuring texts including Dim Sum Palace, Farah Loves Mangos, Cloud Tea Monkeys, Lunch at 10 Pomegranate Street and Leila in Saffron, the list spans Early Years to UKS2 and showcases beautiful deliberately diverse stories, connected by shared experiences around food and community.

The list also highlights where Literacy Tree resources are available for the book and where they are brand new releases.

Alongside the list, don’t miss our newest Story Sapling for A Taste of Home. It's packed with immersive, language-rich opportunities for talk, play, storytelling and purposeful writing in EYFS.
