A half-day course examining how Spelling Seeds are used and how spelling and vocabulary can be embedded and applied in writing

This half-day course will -

• Identify teacher subject knowledge of spelling requirements from years 1 to 6
• Explore where explicit teaching of vocabulary can support knowledge of spelling
• Consider how to plan and assess for spelling requirements
• Demonstrate a variety of engaging activities that can be applied to planning spelling in context, using a high-quality text
