A half-day course where we will explore the place of shared writing within Writing Roots. This session is for our schools who would like more support on the pegagogy of shared writing.

During the session, we will –

• Explore four different approaches to shared writing: modelling, scribing, supporting and editing
• Discuss the value of each approach and will share concrete strategies that can be used to support effective practice for each
• Consider how each approach can be flexibly adapted to meet the needs of learners across the primary age range
• Embed all of this through a high quality text
