3:45pm - 4pm (GMT)

This practical training session will support schools to make the most of the improved Literacy Tree app, exploring how its enhanced features can be used to personalise learning, capture meaningful evidence and support confident assessment across English.

Designed for busy teachers and subject leaders, the session will focus on how the app can be used in real time, as part of everyday classroom practice.

During the session, we will:

  • Explore how to adapt planning live within the Literacy Tree app, enabling teachers to personalise learning responsively for individuals, groups and classes, while maintaining curriculum coherence
  • Demonstrate how to capture children’s writing directly in the app and link this evidence to assessments and/or share high-quality examples with the Literacy Tree community
  • Show how the app supports assessment of reading and writing, helping teachers to capture evidence, track progress over time and make confident, informed judgements

Participants will receive:

  • A clear overview of the app’s enhanced functionality and how it supports teaching, learning and assessment
  • Practical, classroom-ready strategies for integrating the app into daily practice
