A half-day course to support teachers in building their understanding of children's writing and how to assess it, with a specific look at the Literacy Tree Exemplification Materials, RATE assessment tool and the Literacy Tree App.  

Together we will explore writing samples from Literacy Tree schools in the context of our carefully chosen literature. The session will support participants with celebrating successes within children's writing and identifying next steps in order to close attainment gaps. Participants will leave with renewed confidence in assessing writing and with tools to support them in this.
