A half-day course, led by Jess, offering an overview of our Early Years pedagogy and modelling it with one of our chosen high-quality texts. We will identify how starting with a story engages children as creators and communicators with a reason to write, immerses them in a literary world and provides opportunities for talk, exploration, song and play.
We will be exemplifying our Start With a Story pedagogy using Confetti by Dean Atta. We will be looking at this online but if you prefer to have a physical copy, please purchase one in advance.
