An hour's webinar for prospective schools interested in adopting the Literacy Tree approach.

This webinar will cover –

• How the award-winning Literacy Tree provides coverage of the entire programme of study for English, including composition, spelling and reading comprehension
• An overview of the books used within Literacy Tree and the impact of a book-based curriculum
• How we create meaningful contexts for writing using the 'Teach Through a Text' approach
• Why this approach has helped schools achieve cohesive, whole school curriculum coverage

We will do this by –

• Giving delegates the opportunity to look at children's writing outcomes where the Literacy Tree has been used
• Explore how the 'Teach through a Text' approach, can be used effectively within the teaching of English
• Look briefly at all the resources available to teachers, including Writing Roots, Literary Leaves, Spelling Seeds and Coverage and Progression Documents
