Half-day Online Course, 1 PM - 3.30 PM (BST)
A half-day year-specific course, led by Hannah, covering practical strategies for using high-quality children's literature as the primary approach to the teaching of English. This course is ideal for people who are new to Literacy Tree or changing to another year group.
This course will –

The course covers the pedagogy and the approach but one section of the day exemplifies this using a focus text and goes through each aspect. The book we will be exemplifying with is The Ever-Changing Earth by Grahame Baker Smith. We will be looking at this online but if you prefer to have a physical copy, please purchase in advance.
