A half-day course where we will explore the place of shared writing within Writing Roots. 

This half-day course is for our schools who would like more support on the pegagogy of shared writing. During the session, we will –

• explore four different approaches to shared writing: modelling, scribing, supporting and editing.
• discuss the value of each approach and will share concrete strategies that can be used to support effective practice for each.
• consider how each approach can be flexibly adapted to meet the needs of learners across the primary age range.
  embed all of this through a high quality text.
