A half-day course to provide support to Early Career Teachers. 

This half-day course will –
Provide a deeper insight into the practical elements of our Teach Through a Text pedagogy, for Early Career Teachers, exemplifying the evidence base that underpins these and exploring how they can be used effectively across a range of contexts to develop confident, creative writers.

We’ll look at a range of pedagogical tools that support vocabulary development, understanding of word classes and robust knowledge of sentence construction and will focus on how these can be adapted to support children at different ages and stages of learning.

Early Career Teachers in both their first and second year of teaching are invited to attend.
