We have been writing our Christmas Bibliotherapies for many years now; books that we feel would make perfect literary presents for Christmas.
To accompany these festive recommendations, we wanted to compile a seasonal book list as there have been some wonderful publications that didn’t quite make it into our staff Christmas Bibliotherapy, including some from our favourite authors. We loved the thriller Murder at Winter Tide by Fleur Hitchcock, an author who has kept us spellbound with many great mystery novels over the years. This year, we also loved curling up and reading the book of poems by Joseph Coelho entitled Goodnight, Starry Night: Bedtime poems inspired by works of art.
In this by-no-means-exhaustive seasonal booklist, we have also scrolled back through our many recommendations over the years and compiled some of the most Christmassy titles so far (and added a few extra for good measure).
If you are searching for a literary Christmas present, we do hope that you will find something on this list for that special someone.
Over the Christmas holidays, we do hope you will find moments to snuggle up, switch off all the screens and read a great book.
