This is a 15-session Literary Leaf for RHS's The Magic and Mystery of Trees by Jen Green which covers all aspects of the Key Stage 1 content domains.  Children have the opportunity first to 'say what they see’ before moving on to developing retrieval skills as a precursor to inferring. There are multiple opportunities for the children to develop their scientific vocabulary and also to begin to make comparisons.
